We believe that global technological innovation thrives when individuals of all skill levels, backgrounds, and identities can collaborate openly and fearlessly.
All participants, speakers, sponsors, mentors, judges, and staff at HackCulture events are required to agree with and adhere to this Code of Conduct throughout all stages of participation, including on Discord, Slack, virtual meeting rooms, and in-person venues.
02Expected Builder Behavior
Treat all fellow participants, mentors, organizers, and community members with dignity, kindness, and professional respect.
Engage in constructive feedback, collaborative problem-solving, and credit team members and open-source contributors appropriately.
Respect event timelines, mentorship office hours, and the intellectual property boundaries established by organizers and fellow teams.
03Unacceptable Conduct
Harassment in any form, including offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion.
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, unwanted photography or recording, disruption of talks or judging sessions, and inappropriate physical or digital contact.
Sabotage, malicious interference with competing teams' deployments or cloud environments, reverse-engineering non-public judge rubrics, and plagiarism.
